St Ives weather

The weather in St Ives is mild relative to the rest of the UK. As well as being the UK’s southern-most county, Cornwall is also the sunniest, seeing the most sunshine out of all of Britain’s counties.

Summers tend to be mild, warm and sunny, whilst autumn and winter aren’t as harsh as other places in the British Isles, although its Atlantic coastal location does mean that St Ives can get windy – sometimes the main attraction for holidaying watersports enthusiasts!

Average winter temperatures of around 8 degrees celsius make Cornwall and particularly St Ives an ideal location for UK winter breaks without freezing conditions.
